The annual SingaCup, Singapore International Youth Cup is celebrating its 10-year of youth football excellence this November despite the strong challenge and ‘defence’ put up by Covid-19.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the SingaCup is reinventing itself to present a hybrid 5 days event programme consisting of competitive esports tournaments, interviews and panel discussions with professional footballers and industry.
In addition, eSingaCup 2020 seeks to reaffirm its strong standing in the international grassroots football community and attract new fans and a greater audience, all the while showcasing Singapore and the event online.

eSingaCup FIFA 21 – 1 v 1
One of the most talked about programs is the eSingaCup FIFA 21 – 1 v 1 esports tournament. The inaugural eSingaCup FIFA 21 – 1 v 1 tournament will be played exclusively on the PlayStation 4 online network from 31 October to 1 November 2020. Top 16 players will get to win fabulous prizes! Indonesia National Team & Bali United’s footballer Stefano Lilipaly will be sharing his life stories and how he is still hungry for more even at the current age of 30 year old. What has to be said if we have World Cup star Tim Cahill speaking to all of us? Tim is the first Australian to score at three FIFA World Cups (2006, 2010, 2014) and has scored the most goals by any Australian in the World Cup with five goals. The striker is Australia all-time leading goalscorer and is famous for his regular goal celebration of shadow boxing around the corner flag. It will definitely be interesting to hear more from him and host Natasha Alquiros.

Popularly known as “Captain Fantastic”, he is named an ‘Asian Icon’ by AFC on his 34th birthday. This discussion will be hosted by Shehzad Haque.

eSingaCup Movie Screening
Lastly, do not miss out Kallang Roar The Movie on 1 Nov 2020, Sunday, 8pm. Directed by football enthusiast Cheng Ding An in 2008. It is a sports film on Singapore National football team’s legendary coach Choo Seng Quee. The film shows the events leading up to Singapore winning the Malaysia Cup in 1977, including the epic semi-final match against Selangor and the final against Penang.
