The JFA has seen significant success lately, and when asked what’s behind this achievement, Miyamoto pointed to the solid youth training system established in Japan since the late seventies. To him, Japan has a really good youth training system and dedicated coaches worked hard to align their training methods, helping to develop young players. Miyamoto claimed that he was one of the lucky ones who benefited from the system in Japan. And he believes the foundation laid decades ago continues to pay off, with players showcasing their skills on European stages today”

Singapore’s Kampung Buangkok Futsal Team to Participate in Brunei Futsal League

“History has been created. The local futsal team, Kampung Buangkok Futsal Team has received the blessing and sanction from the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) to participate in the next season of the Brunei Futsal League. The green light was officially given to the 3-year-old futsal team (established in 2020) on 25 August 2023”

I have met people who think that I could speak whatever I want just because I am the best. Absolutely no. All these are not for me. I am too old to enjoy all these. All the advices that I am giving from my experience are meant for the younger players that are coming up in the next 10 years. I am giving them the advices so that they can be more professional, they can have a better playing condition and environment, so that they can showcase a better “product” (futsal) to the fans going down to watch them play”
