The Football Association of Singapore today announced the list of 20 players called up to the National Team for the AFC Asian Cup Qualifying match against Syria on Friday, 15 November 2013.
Speaking about the upcoming matches, National Team head coach Bernd Stange said: "Syria is a quality team, and it will be a good experience for the development of our players, to play against an opponent of this level.
We have 13 players in the squad who will be eligible for the SEA Games in December, and the experience of playing against such a quality opponent will put them in good stead for the SEA Games. We look forward to the continued support of all our fans for this match.“
The team will leave for Teheran, Iran on 12 November 2013 and will return on 16 November 2013.
