Former A-League Argentine Midfielder, Marcos Flores who has turned out for Adelaide United, Melbourne Victory, Central Coast Mariners & Newcastle Jets has made a full transfer from Indonesia’s Persib Bandung to Bali United.
The 31 years old Midfielder has enjoyed phenomenal support from Persib’s fans despite only donning the jersey of Bandung’s for just 3 months. Within that few months, the hardworking Midfielder has adapted to the Indonesian style of football quickly and established himself as one of the most consistent Playmakers Indonesia football lovers have ever seen in recent years.

Junpiter Futbol managed to catch up with the player himself while he shared how the move from Persib Bandung to Bali United came about, his thank you message to the Persib Bandung’s fans and how he would want the Persib fans to remember him as.
“I am extremely happy and excited to be part of Bali United FC for this new season. The club approached me after my last game with Persib (vs Arema). I am impressed with their great football philosophy and their vision. Most importantly, they are sincere and they showed me trust and respect, ” said Marcos.
“Not only that, both the club and myself share the same ambition which is to win the championship. Although our squad is young, I am very confident that our team can put up the best performance with the like-minded players whom we have assembled and with teamwork. Initial phase will be tough but as long as we (players) learn to trust each others and to train hard, nothing is impossible.
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Persib’s fans. My time at Persib was not long but the supporters have given me the best support I have ever received. They never failed to make me feel at ease which was the reason why I could always give all my best in every single game I played as the team’s playmaker.
I am really very thankful to all Persib’s supporters. And if they have to remember me, please remember me as a Playmaker, a risk-taker and a little “gila” (crazy) player!” added Marcos.
