Peter Crouch urges former Liverpool, Real Madrid, Newcastle and Manchester Utd’s striker, Michael Owen, to join him at Stoke City for the upcoming English Premier League.
After Sir Alex Ferguson had decided not to renew Owen’s contract with Manchester Utd at the end of last season, the 32 years old has been without a club since. Having represented England in all youth to senior levels, Owen certainly has what it takes to contribute to the Potters.
According to The Sun, Peter Crouch emphasized the possible move for Michael Owen to Stoke City was never a step down. More playing time for Owen and the club’s fantastic supporters would make Stoke an attractive proposition for Owen!
“Michael will obviously make his own decision but a player of that calibre would be fantastic to have around the place. And the fans will absolutely love him! They were amazing with me when I first signed and they’re still great with me now,” added Peter Crouch.
Probably, he can consider a move to North America? Or perhaps Asia??
