Interesting Moments at SINGACUP 2012

Read Time:2 Minute, 18 Second

The recent concluded SINGACUP 2012 was a great success where all the fortunate football lovers got to witness the future football stars from Australia, India, Thailand, Germany, Philippines Indonesia and as well as Singapore! Let Junpiter Futbol brings you some interesting moments during the tournament and presented the unique awards to the winners here!

Best Football Jersey Award

German European School has got the most stand-out jersey with its full PINK! From top to bottom, the color was so striking and to be honest, the loud color did compliment the German’s fair skin color too. Their jersey numbers were also the most random and had one of the players wearing the “biggest” digit – check out jersey number 69!

Best Manager Award

After conceding the fourth goal in the final game which had approximately lat few minutes left to the final whistle, Youth Football Home Phuket’s team manager, Hannu Tuukkanen, seems to be saying this, “Hey, you! Come out! I’m going to (put on myboots) replace you now!”

Most Popular Figure Award

We have no idea who this lady in the photo surrounded by the Indonesian players is, but definitely she has claimed the Most Popular Figure Award.

Best Cap-Supporting Campaign Award

This special award went to Football West Australia U-12 team. Why? Nearly all the boys from Australia U-12 had a cap of its own style on at the final day of SINGACUP 2012 at St. Wilfred Sports Complex! Ranging from NBA to sporty, funky to animation.. you name it, they wore it!

Most Colorful Boots Award

This award went to Football West Australia Girls U-18 team! With their all black outfit, the Adidas and Nike colorful boots which the girls were wearing were simply outstanding. For the record, most of the football boots worn in SINGACUP 2012 were still Adidas and Nike.

Best Teamwork Award

Look at the straight line formed by the all-Indonesian teams in the SINGACUP Boys U-14 final between Javan Hawks Academy & SSB Bontang! Despite representing two different teams, their Indonesian football mentality couldn’t hide their understanding of the game, even moving in for defending and attacking was a single action! Well done, Indonesian teams.

Best Charisma Award

Never seen a handsome boy receiving medals??

Best Creativity Training Top Design Award

Rather than spending on buying the training tops from the market, SSB Bontang team has another idea – they used their creativity to design their own training top! Best still, these tops were water-proof!

Best Quotation Award

“Although I am Messi, don’t always watch my legs, watch my eyes too…”

Most Beautiful Leg Award
